Training halters come in standard sizes as well as being custom knotted to fit your horse, pony or miniature horse. To make sure your halter will fit correctly, measure your horse around the nose 2 finger widths below the cheek bones. That is Measurement 1. For minis and drafts, we also ask for Measurement 2 – from cheek bone to cheek bone behind the ears.

Description

Rope training halters are made with marine quality yacht braid. They are salt resistant and can be washed by hand. Please tie the throat latch though the tie up loop and bottom fiadore knot before putting in the washing machine.

Please take the time to learn to tie the knot correctly. The knot must be tied on the tie up loop (rather than above it) so it will be easy to undo.

Colour choices vary depending on my latest trip to the rope factory. To keep the price low for our customers, we purchase “seconds”, which are shorter lengths of premium quality rope. This helps us keep changing colours. It is expensive to purchase complete rolls of special ordered colours.

Colour choices are: black, blue, red, green, tan, white, white/green, white/blue, and white with red/black/glow in the dark.
