Double Diamond Knot

Description

Some of us prefer not to attach our ropes to our halters with a metal snap as it changes the feel on the rope. These double diamond knots are made with the same marine grade, UV protected yacht braid as our halters and ropes. The loop end of the knot goes through the loop of the rope, then back through itself so it will stay on the rope when the halter is disconnected. The loop passes through the ring or fiador knot of the halter, then over the double diamond knot like doing up a button. Use the double diamond knot for ropes that are less than 3/4″ or the monkey fist knot for ropes that are 3/4″ or larger.
