Natural Artistic Horsemanship Lessons: English, Western, or Beginner Driving
Held at Punkin Patch Farm using Punkin Patch Farm Horses or Ponies
-All lesson participants must be members of Cheval Quebec, OEF, or Les Forestiers or have proof of liability insurance coverage.
-All clients must brush, tack and clean up after themselves and their horses. Brushes cleaned and tack and tools returned. Grooming time may be counted as part of the lesson time for beginners. During this time, we will discuss the theory part of the lesson.
-Lessons must be scheduled and if client must cancel, then PPF expects an email or phone call the day before so lesson can be rescheduled. No call, lesson is forfeited, and payment must be made or work exchange lost. Cancellation due to bad weather excepted.
-Clients may use refrigerator, hot/cold water but must provide their own snacks (except for lesson days) and must clean up after themselves in the kitchen.
-Clients must dress properly for the farm, weather conditions and riding and wear approved helmets at all times while on horses or carriages.
-Clients must provide their own fly/sun protection.
-These are not “Riding Lessons” – please read the section on our Natural Artistic Horsemanship Program. Yes, riding is part of the program, but there is a lot to learn on the ground first. It usually takes clients at least three lessons before they understand the difference between natural and normal. This is why there is a minimum of three lessons. We do not gallop with the wind in our hair on the first lesson. The minimum number of lessons is to prevent a group lesson from turning into a pony party for a fraction of the price.
